    Your VSE-SME liaison officer welcomes you on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Banknote exchangeBanknote exchange

You can visit the office to exchange euro banknotes. You will then get :

  • Small denominations for larger ones (€500, €200 and €100) ;
  • New banknotes for damaged or soiled banknotes (torn, burnt, water damaged, etc.).

An appointment is required for any exchange. Please call 05 96 59 44 00

We welcome you from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (closed on the day before public holidays).
A valid ID is required for any transaction.

Economic, Budgetary and Financial Education (EDUCFI)Economic, Budgetary and Financial Education (EDUCFI)

The national strategy for economic, budgetary and financial education (EDUCFI) has been assigned by the government to the Banque de France and entrusted to IEDOM for overseas territories. Its aim is to provide every citizen with the necessary economic, budgetary and financial knowledge for daily decision-making.

The IEDOM Martinique office runs public awareness and training activities, particularly in collaboration with the Board of Education (Rectorat) and social workers.

An economic observatory

IEDOM acts as an economic observatory for Martinique. Each quarter, the institute conducts a business survey interviewing a sample of local businesses. It also regularly publishes economic and thematic studies.

IEDOM also provides local and national public decision-makers with expertise and insights into the economic and financial aspects of the territory. Our teams regularly participate in conferences and seminars.

Close monitoring of the banking sector

IEDOM also closely monitors the situation of credit institutions in Martinique. The institute analyses trends in lending rates and banking fees and compiles monetary and financial statistics for the territory. IEDOM also regularly organises meetings with credit institutions to discuss local economic trends and issues.
